Immunophenotyping of cell populations

Immunophenotyping (IPT) analysis is a flow cytometry technique that uses monoclonal antibodies fluorochrome conjugated. IPT supports both cell identity and functionality. Cells can be obtained from cells in suspensions, cells in adhesion or from tissues or cells after enzymatic digestion. IPT can analyze both surface and intracytoplasmatic antigens. Procelltech uses IPT to satisfy pharmaceutical quality requirements (EMEA/CHMP/410869/2006 ) for cell "identity" determination of cell therapy products. Procelltech performs a multiparametric flow cytometry analysis up to 8 colors (FACS Canto II ®) that determine up to 28 antigen expression patterns characteristic for the phenotype and functionality of the cell population in exam in line with European Pharmacopeia (EU 6.0., 2.7.24).
